The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) UAS Demonstration Range, led by Mississippi State University and the Mississippi Partnership, is the nation’s first collaborative multi-environment and multi-purpose UAS flight testing and exercise evaluation facility. The DHS UAS Demonstration Range supports various government agencies including the U.S. Coast Guard, Customs & Border Protection, First Responder’s Group, Secret Service, and the DHS Science & Technology Directorate by providing UAS testing, evaluation, and full-scale exercise capabilities for over two dozen security threat scenarios.
